If you can't find the answer you're looking for below, give us a call and we would be happy to answer any questions you have!
NEVER DANCED BEFORE?
We believe that everyone can and should dance, no matter their age or level of experience!  We know it can be intimidating to try something new but we are committed to ensuring that each student has a fun and positive experience.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We don't have a specific dress code at our studio so feel free to wear comfortable clothing that you can move and stretch in.  We just ask that clothing is not baggy (so we can see and correct body alignment), proper dance footwear is worn, and that the hair is pulled away from the face (a ponytail will do just fine!).

We encourage our youngest dancers to wear whatever inspires them.  For some, this means a sparkly tutu, for others, it means leggings and a t-shirt.  As long as they can dance in their outfits, we love it all!
 WHICH CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?
A dancer's experience level is the best way to determine which class will be the best fit.  Because each student progresses at their own pace, it's not uncommon for a dance class to have a range of ages.  Give us a call and we will be happy to recommend a class for you to try!
HOW LONG IS THE DANCE SEASON?
Our program follows the school calendar and class runs continuously from September through June.  We do ask our dancers to commit to the full season as classes are progressive and work on choreography for our year end recital in June.

Our preschool program runs in 10-week modules throughout the school year with sessions running from September-December, January-March, and April-June.

We do our best to welcome students into our studio throughout the year so if you've missed fall registration, give us a call!
HOW MUCH DOES DANCE CLASS COST
Fees are dependent on how many classes you take and the length of each class.  Once you have settled on your dance schedule, we will quote you a monthly rate for your fees.  Tuition is calculated on a yearly basis and then split into 10 equal monthly payments.  Our dance families can pay their at the beginning of each month by cheque, post-dated cheques, cash, e-transfer, debit tap, or credit card (a user fee applies to each credit card transaction).  There is also a registration fee payable with your first month's tuition.

The only other cost you can expect is a costume fee for our year end recital.  We collect a costume deposit in the early spring and bill for the remainder in May.  We work extremely hard to keep the cost of our costumes reasonable for all families.
WHAT ABOUT HOLIDAYS?
While we dance through many holidays (what better way to celebrate?!), we have built any studio closures into our fee structure.  Some months may have 3 weeks of instruction, while others may have 5 weeks; we average it all out and factor it into your monthly payment rate.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS CLASS?
We always miss our dancers when they're not in class but we know that sometimes, school, illness or vacations get in the way!  We do not prorate fees for missed classes but students can make up the lesson(s) in another age/level appropriate class where space allows.
